Craig Porter is the Founder and President of The Renaissance Companies; he is responsible for all company operations including marketing, business development, preconstruction, maintenance of client relationships, and financial management.
Craig received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Arizona State University. Over the past 37 years, he has gained experience in the development and construction processes. Craig is an active member of the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Association Arizona Chapter and the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Association Ecommerce I National Forum.
Craig is a large supporter of charitable organizations, and donates yearly to Fighter Country Partnership, Breast Cancer Research, Foundation for Blind Children, Board of Visitors, Active 20-30 Club, Xavier College Preparatory and Brophy College Preparatory institutions. He also donated The Renaissance Companies time and materials to the building of the New Life center, a shelter for battered women and children. Craig was elected to the Board of Directors for the St. Joseph’s Foundation of Catholic Healthcare West and served a three-year term.
Kelly is the Executive Vice President of The Renaissance Companies and is responsible for leading Renaissance’s marketing, business development, preconstruction, operating, and financial departments. He also creates and maintains client relationships by engaging with them throughout their entire experience with Renaissance to ensure total client satisfaction.
Kelly received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and is LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional), PE (Professional Engineer), & CPC (Certified Professional Contractor) credited and a graduate of the ABA’s (Arizona Builders Alliance) Leadership Development Forum Program. Over the past 24 years, Kelly has gained a wide variety of experience in the construction industry from overseeing projects in the field, to structural design, leading preconstruction and estimating departments and managing business units across the Southwest.

Dave Tilson is a Vice President for The Renaissance Companies and oversees the business development and marketing departments.
Dave received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Arizona State University. He has been in the construction and development industry for over 40 years and has gained experience as an Estimator, Property Manager, Project Manager, and Director of Business Development. His knowledge and service in the construction industry, as well as his social and civic connections have enabled him to create trusted lasting relationships with clients.
Dave is actively involved in the industry and has served on the Board of Directors for the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association. Tyler Elmer is a Project Director for The Renaissance Companies and oversees the self-perform team within Renaissance’s Facilities Construction Group.
Tyler received his Construction Management degree from Phoenix College and is LEED AP ID&C (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional Interior Design & Construction). He has over 21 years of experience in the construction industry and has gained experience as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, and Project Manager.

Dave Porter is the Chief Financial Officer for The Renaissance Companies. Dave manages the accounting, financial, information systems, and risk management. Dave graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Corporate Finance. Robert Burden (Bob) is a Vice President for The Renaissance Companies and oversees the operations department.
Bob has been in the construction industry for over 23 years and has his ASHE Healthcare Construction Certificate, US Army Corps of Engineers QC/QA Certification, and a PMCC Inc., Certificate in Professional Development Training Project Management. He began his construction career as a Sr. Project Manager for a government contracting company out of Ohio and has moved throughout the industry gaining experience in both residential and commercial construction.
